When we face our weaknesses and fallibility, we often feel that God is so distant, He can’t be reached, or He does not hear our prayers. There are so many who really want to know God, they just don’t know where to start. Through this course we invite you to have a deep, personal encounter with the living God.

This retreat is meant for you if you have already put yourself questions like:

How can I know God?
How can I be in personal relationship with Him?
If God really loves us endlessly, then why are so many evil things in the world?
What does it really mean to be a Christian?
What do faith and trust in God mean?
How can I be the follower of Jesus?
Who is the Holy Spirit?
Where can I meet people living an authentic Christian life?

The Philip course tries to answer these questions in a practical way. It does not intend to give knowledge, but rather to help the participants to have a personal encounter with the living God. It does not strive to offer something brand new, because the Gospel is the same as it was 2000 years ago, but it tries to present the old in a new way.

Who can participate?

Those who have a heart open for the love of God, and want to meet Him.
